The myths people believe are that a complicated diet must be followed and you have to spend all waking hours at the gym. The reality is actually quite simple, although most don't want to believe the truth. Most people don't want to look for the answers, but rather hide behind a set of complicated excuses.

So what's the big fitness secret that is so incredibly simple? Eat better and go to the gym. Sorry, it really is that simple. Does eating better need to be a highly complex process with all sorts of hard to find foods? Not by any means, rather increasing fruits and vegetables and avoiding processed food is a great way to start. Fruits and vegetables have been what mankind has been eating since the dawn of time; not a diet rich in fast food. It is also a really good idea to avoid things that are carbohydrate heavy like pasta and bread. Lean meats are preferred and it is best to avoid super sugary sauces if possible.

What about going to the gym? Ideally, most people should aim to be at the gym three to four times per week, and perhaps a day or so of cardio. Most of us leave fairly sedentary lives, spending far too much time sitting down. This is largely in part due to spending most of our working hours seated.

There are a multitude of gyms and it is best to find the right type of gym for your personality. Group fitness classes are growing in popularity right now, and they are a great alternative to some of the traditional "big box" gyms. Group fitness classes, like Crossfit, are a great way to meet new people and get a total body workout.

Although it isn't often associated with weight, loss sleep is a very important factor. It is best to get eight or more hours of sleep every night. We all have busy schedules, but our bodies need time to rest and recover, and sleep is a great way to this. Do your best to try to get as close to eight hours of sleep, and cat naps are also very beneficial.

It is important to remember that big changes in the body don't happen overnight. No one goes from 50 pounds overweight to being completely toned with an amazing body in an instant. It takes time, but if you can stay disciplined and focused, you will see results. Remember that it isn't a complicated process and there are three important factors to abide by: eat healthy, go to the gym, and get plenty of sleep.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-30009961738452002292017-01-19T19:27:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.285+07:00Cause of Heart Palpitations May Not Be What You Think[ad_1]

I occasionally see patients complaining of a fluttering heart, a sense of fullness in the chest, a pounding heart or skipped heartbeats. These sensations, also called heart palpitations, occur when the electrical system in the heart malfunctions. This malfunction disrupts the natural rhythm of the heart (arrhythmia).

Usually, irregular beats are harmless. As a matter of fact, most people at some time in their lives, have occasional irregular heartbeats and never know it. The heart goes right back into rhythm and you don't feel a thing.

But some people do feel these irregularities; their daily activities may even be disrupted. And, palpitations could signal an underlying heart disease. So if you have them, it's important to be evaluated, especially if your palpitations are prolonged and recurrent or accompanied by other symptoms such as chest pain, sweating or dizziness. But many times, the cause is less serious.

I remember one middle-aged patient who was sure his palpitations signaled heart failure. I referred him to a cardiologist for a stress test and an ultrasound of his heart. Both tests revealed good heart function. I also ordered thorough blood tests, which showed no problems. Back in my office, I evaluated his daily activities, food and drink. Right away, I suspected that his high consumption of caffeine might be causing his problem, and he followed my suggestion to eliminate it from his diet. Sure enough, after a week or so, his palpitations disappeared.

Causes and Remedies

When your doctor rules out heart disease, you'll be relieved, of course. But since there are many causes of palpitations, it might take patience to discover what triggers your symptoms. The good news is that, in many cases, you can find remedies.

Nutritional deficiencies. Electrolytes in your body-particularly potassium, calcium, and magnesium-keep the electrical signals in your heart firing regularly. An imbalance can cause irregular beats and simple supplementation may correct them.

Caffeine, tobacco and alcohol. Too much stimulation from ingested chemicals may affect your heart. If you have recurring palpitations, you may find that reducing or perhaps eliminating one or more of these stimulants will solve the problem.

Medications. Many prescription and over-the-counter drugs can cause heart palpitations, particularly cold medications which contain pseudoephedrine. It's a good idea for anyone to avoid these. Opt for natural and homeopathic remedies when you have a cold.

Stress. If you do not handle stress well, palpitations may be your body's way of responding. Identify your stressors and learn how to deal with them. Simplify your life, try yoga or meditation, listen to music, practice deep breathing. Even adding moderate exercise to your routine can relieve stress. Do what works for you.

Food allergies or sensitivities. Just because you've never had allergies, don't assume that food could not be the culprit. Even adults can develop food allergies for the first time or develop new food allergies. An estimated 9 million adults in the US have them. If you suspect food allergy, try keeping a food journal, noting when palpitations occur. You might also need to follow an elimination diet, which will help you to pinpoint the offending foods.

Food additives and preservatives. These are substances which you should avoid anyway. But if you're particularly sensitive to them, they might be causing your symptoms. Watch out particularly for artificial sweeteners.

Anemia and hyperthyroidism may cause palpitations. Both of these conditions require particular treatment and, if suspected, can be confirmed with blood tests.

Helpful supplements

When an obvious diagnosis cannot be made, some doctors prescribe drugs to control heart palpitations. Beta-blockers help the heart slow down. Calcium channel blockers relax blood vessels. However, these drugs often bring with them unpleasant side effects, including sexual dysfunction and sluggishness. It makes sense to try natural supplements first.

When supplementing with minerals, calcium and magnesium seem especially important. Calcium supports the cardiac muscle, and magnesium can regulate some types of arrhythmia.

An amino acid called taurine keeps your heart from losing potassium and helps it use calcium and magnesium more effectively. A taurine supplement can regulate heartbeats by actually correcting the arrhythmia. It should be taken along with vitamins B6 and C to ensure proper absorption.

When the heart beats too fast, a Chinese herb called Cordyceps, may help slow the rate. It also increases the blood supply to the heart and may lower blood pressure.

A Heart-Healthy Diet

With any heart-related issue, I recommend a general heart-healthy diet. In addition to fresh fruits and vegetables, don't forget beans and legumes, fish, dark leafy greens (such as spinach and arugula), whole grains, nuts, spices, herbs, wheat germ and flax meal. And specifically for palpitations, eat avocados, a great source of potassium, which helps to regulate heart rhythm.

If you are experiencing heart palpitations, don't assume the worst. Do get evaluated for heart disease.

But don't panic! Remember that, in many cases, the problem is less serious and can be solved through natural methods.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-7246462640831292112017-01-19T17:23:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.276+07:00Teas For Weight Loss[ad_1]

There are many different ways to embark on a weight loss program, perhaps you yourself have tried various different ways before, some of you will have been successful and others perhaps not so lucky.

You may be surprised to learn that one of the ways towards weight loss is in fact drinking tea - yes you heard or rather read right. Tea drinking, more specifically green tea. Researchers have actually concluded that drinking green tea can reduce body weight and has health benefits.

Let me tell you a bit about how it works. Green tea is enriched with antioxidants, which are compounds that protect other substances from oxidation.

Antioxidants help to protect cells from chemicals that have destructive actions called 'free radicals' which include aging and irregular metabolism. 'Free radicals' damage has been implicated in diseases such as heart disease, stroke and cancers. By regularly consuming food and drinks that are rich in antioxidants, we can help to soak up these 'free radicals'. Fruit and vegetables are a good source of antioxidants but we can increase our intake by drinking tea, which is known to be rich in a particular group of antioxidants called flavonoids. Three cups of tea have about 8 times the amount of antioxidant power as there is in one apple.

The Chinese have been drinking green tea for hundreds of years to aid slimming. They use blends of traditional herbs and plants that are known have health giving properties in their green teas. These will usually include, tea leaves, usually oolong that are sun dried to prevent oxidation, Lotus leaf to clean the spleen and aid digestion and metabolism, Hawthorn for assisting digestion, Alisma Rhizome and Cassia seeds, both of which are used to support the body's organs, and Poria which assists the immune system. You can even learn to make your own!!

In fact in general when you start drinking green tea you'll be in good company. Famous people such as Jennifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow and Eva Longoria are reported to regularly drink green tea. Best put the kettle on then before you settle back and read the rest!!

One of the more commonly known weight loss teas is Cho Yung Tea. This contains green tea and has an antioxidant function. As with all green teas, Cho Yung is a safe and natural way to improve your health and well being. The way it works is by oxidising fat rather than blocking its absorption. Rather than just take my word for it however, Chinas own Ministry of Health have given Cho Yung Tea a certificate of approval for health food, stating that it has a slimming effect.

As a stand-alone tea, Oolong has qualities of black and green tea. It has a distinctive fruity taste and a lovely golden colour. Again, the Chinese have always used it to aid weight loss and is present in the Cho Yung tea above. Oolong is widely used in many slimming remedies.

Yogi Tea produce an organic womens fitness tea, which again has been formulated using herbs that are said to support good metabolism, it uses Pu-erh tea which is known worldwide for weight loss properties, and is balanced with Mate from South America which is a natural energiser, and combined with Rosemary and Nettle, both of which are rich in nutrients.

Tea producers Birt & Tang have used the same method of combining the Pu-erh or Oolong tea with various different herbs and nutrients to have a range of weight loss teas to suit all palates. These include Detox green tea, designed to help cleanse the major organs. Figuro, made with a blend of cassia tora and hawthorn believed to eliminate stagnant qi (natural body energy). Osmanthus and Pu-erh for weight loss and Slim Art, which claims to be the most beneficial tea on the market, a blend of Pu-erh tea, rosehip and water lily.

Overall tea, whether it be green or black, is a naturally refreshing drink, and taken on it's own has no calories. It is a drink that is enjoyed all over the world. Black tea is more popular, but green tea more recently seems to be creeping up behind. Both come from the same plant but under go a different process to make the final tea different.

The health benefits gained from drinking green and black tea is comparable in that both help to promote health and well-being. It is the way in which the teas are processed which determines the different health giving effect. So for weight loss or not, who'd have thought anything that was this popular could be so good for you!!

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-82121888661912091152017-01-19T15:37:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.267+07:00Getting Rid of Stubborn Pimples on the Nose[ad_1]

The nose can be a favorite spot for unsightly blackheads and pimples. For some people, this may be a constant frustration. How do you deal with stubborn acne on the nose that never seems to go away? To answer this, we should first understand its causes and the many treatments that can be used against it.

What Causes Pimples and Blackheads on the Nose?

Acne starts to develop when the pores become clogged by a mixture of excess oil, dirt, and dead skin cells. Blackheads form when the dead skin cells are exposed, making them black when they come in contact with air. Bigger pimples result as bacteria make its way inside the blockage and multiply inside.

The hormone testosterone plays a big role in causing acne. A sudden increase in testosterone in the body pushes the oil glands into overdrive, making the skin oilier than usual and leading to pimple breakouts. Food that are rich in fats, sugars, and simple carbohydrates have also been pointed out to make the oil glands work overtime. Stress and getting insufficient sleep also show on the skin.

The nose can become especially prone to pimples and blackheads because it is part of the T-zone. This is an area of the face that tends to produce more oil than usual. The nose also gets to be in constant contact with our hands - for example, we touch it unconsciously when we're thinking or pinch it when we're disgusted. This makes it easier for bacteria and dirt to find its way to the nose. Pricking or popping pimples on the nose will also make new ones reappear in the same area.

How to Get Rid of Acne on the Nose

There are two general approaches to treating any kind of acne. The first involves treatment at the skin's surface using anti-acne cleansers, creams and ointments with ingredients like tretinoin, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. While these topical treatments may help clear up clogged pores or kill acne-causing bacteria, these don't work for more severe forms of acne. A common side effect with topical treatments is that they may lead to stinging, burning, and dry, flaky skin. They also lose their efficacy over time as the skin adapts. More significantly, most topical treatments only work against existing acne and do not do much to prevent new ones from appearing.

A more lasting solution to stubborn pimples and blackheads on the nose is to treat these from within. This means addressing hyperactive oil glands so that acne does not form in the first place. Pantothenic acid or vitamin B5 is an anti-acne vitamin that treats acne and prevents it from coming back. It works by controlling oil production without completely shutting down the oil glands. Vitamin B5 also breaks down existing oil to make the skin clearer and the pores smaller. For best results, you can use topical acne treatments with vitamin B5 supplements. This is a surefire way to get rid of stubborn acne on the nose in just a few weeks.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-12251647826225859142017-01-19T13:39:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.257+07:00The Most Common Systemic Yeast Infection Symptoms[ad_1]

Often times a Systemic Yeast Infection can have minor symptoms, and because of this they are dismissed as nothing to concerned about. However, once the yeast enters the bloodstream, the Systemic Yeast Infection Symptoms rapidly become very damaging and even life threatening. Your immune system ordinarily contains a healthy amount of yeast in small amounts, and this yeast is helpful to the body instead of causing problems.

The body also has various microorganisms that function to keep yeast growth limited so that an actual infection doesn't occur.

On-going stress attacks, unhealthy food, normal pregnancy changes, immune system deficiency diseases, antibiotic medications and other disease may destroy the tiny microorganisms and thereby allow the Systemic Yeast Infection Symptoms to rage.

Symptoms can vary from each individual, but here a few of the most common ones:

1. A regular feeling of tiredness and general malaise.

Someone who is going through a Systemic Yeast Infection will be tired all the time, has dizzy spells, suffers from headaches, muscle aches, and could even begin to experience certain sensory disturbances.

2. Unusual or sudden sensitivity to chemicals or new food allergies.

They can develop certain sensitivities to food or other things that haven't bothered them in the past.

3. Gastrointestinal tract disturbances.

Often times Symptoms may be the cause of GI irregularities. Also, food allergies, flatulence, (IBD) inflammatory bowel disease, rectal itching, constipation, and diarrhea which may seem to be the oncoming GI issues may really be the Systemic Yeast Infection Symptoms.

You can even have a thrush infection to occur, which is a Yeast Infection that develops in the mouth or throat.

4. Genital problems or urinary tract problems.

Some others will have a seemingly continuous bout with Vaginal Yeast Infections, while the fact is they actually are dealing with Systemic Yeast Infection Symptoms, and either don't realize it or never have it treated properly.

5. Sudden formation of skin rashes or hives.

You could even be having a case of hives, and not have a clue where they came from.

6. Suddenly feeling irritable or mildly depressed.

Some symptoms such as lowered attention span, memory loss, trouble sleeping, difficulty concentrating or focusing, being in a "fog" or mental confusion that may also be classified as symptoms.

7. Problems with the autoimmune system.

It is possible that a person with an autoimmune disorder to find that the symptoms of their condition have gotten worse.

Some autoimmune disorders that typically become worse from a Systemic Yeast Infection are sarcoidosis, scleroderma, myasthenia gravis, arthritis, hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenic purpura, or systemic lupus erythematosus.

Systemic Yeast Infection Symptoms seem to be more of a problem when a patient suffers from higher stress levels and a continually unhealthy diet.

Yeast flourish on a body that is fed with sugar, refined starch, and chemical additives. These chemicals, starches and sugars are also readily present in bread, cookies, chips and other junk foods which are a large part of many peoples diets. When someone is under a lot of stress, the microorganisms in the body that are in charge of the yeast begin to die off.

What this translates to for you is that a terrible diet of sugary foods mixed with a stress level that's too high means the ideal living condition for yeast. Since this yeast is going to have the perfect conditions to thrive, a Systemic Infection could be on the horizon.

Anytime you believe you may have Systemic Yeast Infection Symptoms, you need to talk to your doctor about what tests need to be run to determine what your body's level of Yeast organism is.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-33795126239260097022017-01-19T11:44:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.246+07:00How To Get Skinny - The Natural Asian Way[ad_1]

How to get skinny is probably the most frequent question I get from clients in my weight-loss programs. It's a challenge that every woman who has struggled with her body has faced at some point in her life. The truth is that there are millions of Asian women around the globe who have skinny and lean bodies year-round...even just after giving birth!

Today you're going to learn how to get skinny the natural Asian way, by using some easy-to-remember tips that Asian women use to drop extra pounds off quickly that you can add to your everyday routine.

How To Get Skinny - Fast And Easy Natural Solutions

For my new weight-loss clients I first begin with teaching them some fundamental basics about long-term permanent weight loss. Simple things that anyone can do right from day one to jumpstart their fat-burning potential. And while you're not going to learn every Asian secret about weight-loss from a single short article, you CAN pick up a few tips that will get you on the road to your ideal body:

1. A Smaller Plate = A Smaller Belly - If you ever travel to Asia one of the first things you'll notice is that the bowls and plates that families use are much smaller than the typical American size. This is important for a reason that isn't hard to understand: You eat less food if your plate can't hold more!

Try "shrinking" your dishes when you're trying to stay focused while losing weight, particularly for dinner, you'll find that it's one of the most simple things you can do to answer your question of how to get skinny fast.

2. Water isn't just found in a glass - Certain vegetables hold two advantages over regular foods, first of which of course is their superior nutrient profile, which helps our bodies stay healthy and functioning well. But for certain veggies like zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, and kale, there's a second big advantage for those trying to figure out how to get skinny: They're water-dense.

Water-dense vegetables will fill you up (and keep you full) much longer than other options, try to include them as a side-dish with main meals.

3. Cut the fruit juice and switch to REAL fruit - There's an amazing thing that happens when we drink fruit juice from the typical store. Our insulin level skyrockets due to all the refined sugar in the drink, which makes it nearly impossible for another 4-6 hours to burn any fat...even if your diet is flawless.

Avoid this trap by only drink actual fruit juice that you personally squeezed. If that's too much work, no problem, eat an actual piece of fruit instead...and enjoy the fiber within it that keeps you from being hungry. Always choose real fruit over anything processed, it will bring you closer to the answer to "how to get skinny" much faster.

4. No "Las Vegas drinks" when out to dinner - When you're eating out, don't be tempted to order a bottle of white wine, a large 16oz fruity cocktail, or any other big size drink that may contain alcohol or processed sugars. The answer in this area of how to get skinny comes in the form of ordering your wine by the glass instead, and sticking to cocktails that are less than 6 ounces in volume. You can ask the waiter for an example of the glass size if you're unsure.

Often we overindulge on drinks and alcohol at dinner when eating out, and it not only inflates the bill it inflates our thighs! Stick to healthy water, tea, or other natural liquids when eating out and minimize the damage.

These basic tips can go a lot further than you may think on the road to getting skinny fast, if you make them a habit and practice each of them daily it wouldn't surprise me to see you drop 10 or 15 pounds within a month or so. They're that powerful in keeping you from the body you desire.

What If You Still Can't Lose Weight?

If today's tips don't help you trim down your tummy fat or love handles for good, you'll want to learn a more powerful secret free method that Asian women do to force fat off of their belly and thighs quickly...without starving or doing insane workouts.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-55106192406817125902017-01-19T09:54:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.235+07:00Differentiating Genital Warts From Other Genital Disorders[ad_1]

Bumps and lesions in the genital area should not just be a cause for vain concern. It can mean one of several things including genital wart which is a highly contagious sexually transmitted disease or STD triggered by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. Of the hundreds of strains of HPV, only a few can cause genital warts, or otherwise known as condylomata acuminata.

HPV infection should be a serious concern of anyone who is sexually active. While some strains of the infection can cause venereal warts, a few high-risk strains are a common cause of cervical cancer as well as other lesser known cancers of the vulva, anus, mouth as well as the throat.

Genital warts are characterized by flesh or brown colored bumps that can be tiny or large and clustered. The lumps are observed on the external genitalia in women, the vaginal walls and the cervix. In men, on the other hand, it is commonly observed in the tip or shaft of the penis as well as on the scrotum. It also occurs around the anus in both men and women and may also appear in the oral cavity in rare cases as a result of oral sex with a carrier of the disease.

Mistaking Genital Warts for Other Conditions

There are other similar conditions that are often mistaken for genital warts.

1. Hirsuties Papillaris Genitalis

In men, the incidence of pearly penile papules (PPP), otherwise known as hirsuties papillaris genitalis, can often be mistaken for venereal warts. PPP appear as small, spherical lesions, often flesh-in color that neatly surround the corona of the glans penis and, may sometimes appear on the glans penis itself.

A similar condition observed in women is called vestibular papillae of the vulva. In both men and women, the papules may be undesirably sensitive. Yet these are harmless skin conditions, not diseases, as opposed to the venereal warts which are contagious.

2. Fordyce Spots

Fordyce spots are common tiny, painless raised spots that occur in the inner surface of the lips and the face that can also appear on the penis or labia. Like, hirsuties papillaris genitalis, it is an innocuous skin condition and does not pose any health threat as compared to genital warts.

3. Molluscum Contagiosum

Molluscum Contagiosum (MC) is another viral infection that is commonly misdiagnosed for genital warts. A particular strain of the MC virus is sexually transmitted among adults. Similar to PPP, these are pearly lesions, often flesh in color, that appear on the genitals, inner thighs, buttocks and lower abdomen of adults. The virus is contained in the waxy core of the lesions. It is, however, different from genital HPV.

Testing for Genital HPV

Anybody who contracts any genital skin abnormality should immediately seek medical attention. A doctor can determine at first glance whether it is really genital warts as opposed to hirsuties papillaris genitalis, Fordyce spots or Molluscum Contagiosum.

In some instances when the warts are not clearly visible to the naked eye, the doctor may apply a vinegar solution called acetic acid to highlight any flat warts. The bumps may be further analyzed using a colposcope, a common gynecological instrument with a lighted magnifying lens.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-32538243000413163552017-01-19T08:04:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.224+07:00List of Foods to Swear By For Improved Male Fertility[ad_1]

Diet is always one of the buzzwords when a lady is pregnant. When compared with an auto that was used with concern and well maintained. These techniques have been used by Asian Women for years, and I can verify just how well they work from my own experience!

Flat Stomach Rules - Get A Flat Belly

1. Raw food is one of the best ways to reduce stomach fat quickly, it's one of the key reasons why Asian Women tend to have slim waists without killing themselves working out.

Some of the best raw foods I've found that have a strong effect in reducing stomach fat are centered around high-fiber low-calorie fruits and vegetables:

- Avocado

- Cabbage

- Carrots

- Cauliflower

- Pear

- Tomato

- Watercress

In my experience each of these foods tends to attack fatty deposits around the stomach, and fairly quickly. Add them to your diet in any way possible, as long as they are RAW. That's the secret that Asian Women enforce as a rule, whichever food on the list you're eating must be raw.

It works because the body has to work harder to break down and digest raw food, and in doing so it works dozens of muscles around the stomach...without you doing a single sit-up. This process also burns calories through the increased effort, which results in a more efficient fat-burning diet!

The benefit of raw foods, specifically the raw foods on this list, can go a tremendous way towards getting the body back that you deserve. Try it!

2. I've used a nice drink recipe anytime I want to get a flat belly that I learned about years ago from my Chinese Grandmother (and she probably learned it from HER Grandmother! haha):

Put about eight cups of water into a container along with:

- 1 x teaspoon, grated ginger

- 1 x cucumber, peeled and sliced thinly

- 1 x lemon, thinly sliced

- 10 x small spearmint leaves

Combine all the ingredients and let it stand in fridge overnight. Drink it all over the course of the next day.

It's surprising I know, but Asian Women are skinny for a lot of reasons and this is one of them. Do it and see if it works for you.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-82886193231959856032017-01-19T00:38:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.188+07:00Main Causes For Genital Warts[ad_1]

Genital warts are a disease which is sexually transmitted. The below mentioned article will explain genital wart and then highlight the main root causes of genital wart.

Genital warts are basically small flesh colored bumps and they appeal like small cauliflowers. In the beginning, they may appear like small lesions and they measure about 2 mms in diameter. Later they grow and expand into bigger masses. Most commonly in women they may appear both outside and inside the vagina, uterus, cervix and the area around the anus. For men, they may develop both on anus area, penis shaft and on the scrotum. If you have had oral sex with your partner, sometimes men and women also get genital wart in the throat and mouth areas if your partner has attracted this infection.

The virus causing genital wart is human papillomavirus. There are 100 HPV strains, out of which 30 can cause damage and you could catch the infection. The strains are referred to as genital HPV and at least 50% of both men and women who engage in regular sex can attract this disease.

The virus that causes genital warts is called human papillomavirus (HPV). There are around 100 strains of HPV but only 30 of these can infect the genital area. These strains are called genital HPV, which can infect about 50 percent of men and women who are sexually active.

The two varieties of HPV virus are low risk virus and high risk virus. The High risk type results in cancer of penis, throat, vagina, anus or cervix. These are different from the ones which cause genital warts. The HPV (Type 16) has a maximum potency of causing cervical cancer. As per statistics, 50% may get converted into cervical cancer cases. The other types 31, 16, 18 and 45 may result in the former one.

The lesser risk types may result in genital wart. Close to 90% of these cases occur due to types 6 and 11. There are no symptoms whatsoever and hence it becomes difficult to diagnose the disease. There are many people who are unaware that they are affected by low risk HPV. Hence, the chances of transmitting them are definitely greater. It is advised that you get regular checkups so as to eliminate any doubts.

Genital warts are transmitted through sexual intercourse. It is estimated that close to 66% of people who attract genital wart would have had sexual intercourse with an infected partner. This could be either anal sex, vaginal or even oral.

Childbirth could also bring about these problems. When the baby comes out from the uterus and gets in contact with the infected birth canal, there are chances that the infant would attract genital warts of the throat or mouth, if the mother is infected with genital warts during her delivery.

Though not scientifically proven, fomites are objects which transmit viruses from individual to individual. Make sure you avoid using toiletries and towels of people infected with genital warts. Sometimes, genital warts are also transmitted through contaminated medical equipments too.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-62814529716483260112017-01-18T22:03:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.169+07:00Is There Hair Miniaturization in Telogen Effluvium (TE)? I'll Tell You[ad_1]

Some of the most common questions that I get on my blog have to do with how to tell the difference between hereditary or androgen driven hair loss (AGA) and shedding or medical / stress related hair loss (which is called TE or telogen effluvium.) The shedding condition is often thought (sometimes incorrectly) to be more temporary in nature. Often, a distinction between the two is thought to be the presence of thinning, sickly, fly away, or miniaturized hair that shows in the regrowth of androgenic alopecia. Sometimes though, people will come out and ask "is it possible to have miniaturized hairs with TE?" I'll answer this question in the following article.

What Is Miniaturization, Exactly?: You may already know this and you may not, but hair becomes miniaturized because of hormones, DHT, or aging. What happens is that the hair is affected by these various factors and it then falls out prematurely and grows back more thin. This happens over many cycles of hair loss and regrowth, so that in the first round it may only be a 10% reduction in the diameter of the hair (and not be very noticeable.) But by the time several of these cycles have taken place, you may have a 50-70% reduction in hair thickness. This is when it becomes noticeable and this is when folks will often seek help. But by this time, you're already deep into this process.

Sometimes the miniaturization will only occur in those areas that are most affected by DHT, which is often the temples, the crown, and the top. But some individuals will have an all over or more diffuse thinning and this diffuse thinning does not always mean that you don't have AGA. It's also possible the have both AGA and TE going on at the same time, as unlucky as this would be.

Can TE Or CTE Cause Miniaturization?: The short answer is yes, but it's not completely common for this to happen. It's much more likely that thinner or finer hairs are due to androgens or age. However, some medical conditions (especially having to do with your thyroid or adrenals) can affect the density of your regrowth. (This is also true of the medications used to treat these conditions.)

And, some severe cases of telogen effluvium or CTE can cause an inflammatory process that can stunt or thwart your follicles so that they are no longer producing high quality, thick hair. Sometimes, they will have a few faulty or unproductive hair cycles and will eventually work their way back to normal. But sometimes, you will have to lessen the inflammation, heal the scalp, and then follow both of these things up by aggressively stimulating the scalp so that it is producing the best quality hair that is possible for it at the time.

How Do You Know If It's AGA Or TE That Is Causing Your Hair To Miniaturize?: This question is a bit more tricky. You can look to see if you have any of the common triggers for temporary shedding and you can look at any family history that you may have or see if you have any other symptoms of excess androgens (excess facial hair in women or oily skin and scalp for both genders.) You can also try to determine if your loss pattern is androgenic patterned and is more evident in those high androgenic areas.

But honestly, the treatment is the same no matter which is the case. Step one is eliminating any triggers. Step two is addressing the inflammation. And step three is stimulating the regrowth that is going to offer appropriate coverage.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-63180319976785395162017-01-18T20:20:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.156+07:00Health Risks Of A Non-Ergonomic Environment[ad_1]

Can working in a non-ergonomic office be bad for your health? Yes, say some advocates of the ergonomic way of life. But, let's face it; people have worked in traditional offices for years without risking their health and well being. Of course being smart about how you work can help increase your chances of staying safe and well.

The truth is that overly stressing any part of your body, albeit a set of muscles and tendons, your immune system or even your mental health can all be dangerous, and since ergonomics relies on bringing the physical, mental, emotional and technological beings together in better alignment and harmony it can only help create a healthier and more comfortable work environment.

Without an ergonomically designed workspace you could be setting yourself up for a myriad of physical ailments including:

Carpel tunnel syndrome - this can be avoided by using better aligned keyboards and other office tools

Tendonitis - finding a better fit in office equipment can help alleviate this painful disorder

Fatigue - something as simple as putting a glare filter on an annoying computer screen can ease eye strain and help alleviate mid-day fatigue

Chronic colds and flu - stress can lower the immune system. Ergonomics helps to find ways to lower physical and emotional stress by improving the way people view their job tasks and finding better (and easier) ways to accomplish them. Another way to avoid more physical ailments is to make your work environment more physically comfortable in terms of temperature. People who feel too cold or hot in the office may be more apt to suffer with the sniffles or worse on a regular basis. Regulating temperatures and the like can help alleviate these problems once and for all.

Mental health - psychological issues too can be avoided lowering stress levels, frustration and feelings of incompetence

So, now that you better understand the dangers of working in a non-ergonomic environment what can you do about? First, make sure the equipment and tools you use (computers, desks, chairs, etc), are comfortable to use. Be sure chairs and desks are at the right height to prevent neck and back strain; install extra lighting to stop eye strain; and use keyboards that are specially designed to prevent wrist and hand problems.

Next, make sure the outdoor environment is comfortable. Get rid of plants that may be causing allergy symptoms; lower or raise the temperature in your office or cubicle for the most comfort and add some soft music if that helps you relax more and concentrate better.

Finally, find ways to complete tasks in an easier manner. If you are having hand pain from folding newsletter and brochures, either enlist some help or try to talk your boss into buying a folding machine. You aren't always going to be able to incorporate the best ergonomics ideas and designs into the workplace, but the key is to find as many as you can to make your work life easier and more comfortable.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-39136354033944732082017-01-18T18:04:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.143+07:00The Lemonade Cleansing Diet Advantages and Disadvantages[ad_1]

People try many different diet and exercise routines in order to lose weight. Some of these are more effective than others and this effectiveness can be easily determined by observing the weight change of the dieter. The Lemonade Diet is one weight reduction technique that has stood the test of time while the fad products have come and gone. Additionally, the lemonade diet combines weight reduction with detoxification of your body, something that is very rare to find in health and diet products.

Advantages

This regimen does not involve total fasting, which can be very unhealthy for the body. It is a liquid method of detoxification and cleansing geared toward removing the mental craving for any food. The body will not feel hungry and any toxins will be passed quickly from the body. This is a very safe, natural, and healthy way for an individual to lose weight and cleanse the body.

The lemonade weight loss method is also called the Master Cleanse Diet and it has been around for over 70 years, thus it is a full proof method that has stood the test of time. Developed by Stanley Burroughs, a naturopath, Master Cleanse provides the digestive system with a much-needed rest and helps to eliminate the toxins in the body. Lack of exercise, negative mental state, and an improper diet all cause unhealthy toxins to build up within our systems.

Some of the reported benefits of this detox diet are:

• More energy and less lethargy

• Total cleansing of the blood, kidneys and colon from years upon years of built-up waste

• A strengthened immune system

• Burning Fat

• Fast weight loss

• Make you look and feel much younger

• An almost euphoric or spiritual journey

Individuals using the Master Cleanse technique often lose up to two pounds each day. The amount of weight loss will vary with the quantity of the maple syrup used in the diet, but detoxification will occur within the body of anyone who takes any amount of the substance. Mr. Burroughs felt that toxicity was the cause of every illness within the body. Therefore, those with chronic illnesses may find this detox technique especially beneficial.

Disadvantages

Approximately 60 ounces of a concoction made from lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water should be ingested each day, for a period of at least 10 days. No solid food is allowed. The individual may also drink water during the period that he or she is on Master Cleanse. In addition, a salt water flush should be taken each morning and a laxative tea taken each afternoon.

As you can imagine, the lemon diet requirements are quite tough and some individuals often quit the diet after a couple of days. Learning to get along without solid food for 10-14 days can be a tremendous challenge. Also, since this is a cleansing diet as we said, there are "detox" symptoms that may occur, including headaches, nausea and vomiting, cravings, fatigue and irritability.

My recommendation for the lemonade diet

The best option in my opinion is to get the lemonade diet as a supplement product (in pill form), so that you don't have to go through the tough liquid fasting as described above. For example, the Lemonade Diet Weight Loss pill will help you to lose up to 17 pounds in just 14 days and comes with a professional meal and exercise program. With this supplement you will be eating the recommended meal plan together with the lemon diet supplement to help you detoxify and lose weight at the same time.

Conclusion

It is recommended that any person interested in exploring the lemonade diet (master cleanse) consult with a physician prior to beginning. The doctor will advise whether this course of action is recommended based on the health history and medical conditions of the individual.

When looking for a safe and natural way to lose weight, look no further than the Lemonade Diet. This weight loss technique involves ingesting a drink made from a few ingredients (lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and water), in addition to taking a salt water flush and laxative tea. Therefore it can be easily prepared at home. The individual should soon begin to see the pounds come off and feel healthier as the body detoxifies.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-9002956568041951542017-01-18T16:19:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.131+07:00The Connection Between Stress And Hair Loss[ad_1]

Hair loss is one of the major physical effects that can occur due to excessive stress. It is certainly fine to eat poultry to aid in helping in your quest to lose weight. Chicken is a lean protein and protein is extremely important in our weight loss efforts.

Eating chicken for weight loss is a smart choice. Although most people make the mistake of eating much too much of it. Large portions are not necessarily better. The size of your fist is what you should be aiming for as the amount of lean protein that your body requires.

Eating chicken for weight loss is something you should be doing a few times per week. Although chicken is not the only food you should be eating to burn fat. Here are 10 fat burn tricks you can use to further increase your diet efforts.

1. Make sure to eat a variety of foods. Add sources of lean protein, such as fish, tuna, turkey, or pork to your diet.

2. Be sure to eat fibrous foods, like vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, cauliflower.

3. Try to eat more beans for more protein and consider making home made hummus. Also eat black beans or kidney beans as well for good sources of protein.

4. Be sure to drink water and lots of it. Make sure it is slightly chilled to help up your metabolism.

5. Add some spices to your foods like chili powder, cinnamon, or red pepper flakes. These increase your inner metabolism greatly.

6. Add short intense bursts to your workouts. Run your tail off for two minutes, take a break, then go again. Add at least 10 sets of two minutes sprints.

7. Do not eat 4 hours before bed time. I know you have heard that it does not matter because it is how many calories you eat versus how many you expend. This is simply not true. Your body needs to digest your food before you put it rest.

8. Make sure you get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep. This is also of vital importance to losing weight. Remember eating chicken for weight loss works, but it does not equal the importance of sleep for weight loss. Go to a local health food store and find a decent tasting green drink. These drinks are essential in giving your body the enzymes it requires. We cannot possibly eat the amount of vegetables per day that our body needs.

10. Try to be happy and upbeat as much as possible. When we are feeling down or depressed our bodies will protect itself by reserving all the fat for our brains to function properly. So put on some great music or call a friend.

I hope this has been helpful and that you add some of these suggestions to your daily routine. Start out with one or two and then add them all. You will not be sorry you did. And just as there are many triggers and causes, there are also many different remedies. Some of these asthma home remedies involve consuming different combinations of food ingredients. Two of the most beneficial ingredients are honey and ginger.

Let's take a look at some concoctions with honey and with ginger.

Honey as a Remedy

Honey is very good for asthma. Honey helps to thin the mucus in the body and helps get the mucus out of the respiratory system. As you probably already know, mucus accumulates in the breathing passages and blocks air flow in and out of the body. This can trigger or make an asthma attack worse.

You can either take the honey by mouth or you can just breathe in the honey if an attack is beginning.

Here are some mixtures (along with how often to take them) that combine honey with other ingredients:

* One teaspoon of honey with water every day.

* One teaspoon of warm water with one quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder twice a day.

* One teaspoon of honey with half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder once a day (either morning or night).

* One tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of drumstick leaves juice, one teaspoon small onion juice, and half a teaspoon of asafetida. Mix all these things together and consume twice a day.

Ginger as a Remedy

Ginger is also very good for asthma. Ginger powder negates the effects of Platelet-Activating Factors. This means the ginger powder stops inflammation.

When mixed with certain other ingredients, it also acts as an expectorant. This means that it helps you cough-up and get rid of mucus in your respiratory system.

Here are a few mixtures with ginger in them:

* One teaspoon of ginger with one cup of fenugreek concoction once a day.

* Fresh ginger juice mixed with honey taken once a day.

* Half a tea spoon of fresh ginger, one teaspoon cumin seeds, a pinch of nutmeg, and a glass of water. Combine everything and bring to a boil. Then drink hot.

The Effectiveness of Honey and Ginger

The effectiveness of honey and ginger as an asthma home remedy has been proven over and over. However, just as everyone's asthma is triggered by something different, everyone's asthma is effectively treated a little differently. Therefore, you will need to test to see which one or ones work best for you.

Overall, honey and ginger are two of the most effective ingredients that you can add to any concoction. Honey helps rid the respiratory system of mucus while ginger helps stop inflammation and also helps get rid of mucus when mixed with certain other ingredients.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-75984698404818839772017-01-18T08:44:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.034+07:00Belly Fat Diets - The Magical Solution?[ad_1]

Have you heard that there are foods and special diets that are specially designed to help you get rid of your belly fat? There is something called the Flat Belly Diet that has been endorsed by the writers at Prevention magazine. The diet is promoted as a way to take as many inches off of your waistline as you want. There are also a variety of diets making the rounds right now that claim they can get rid of your stomach fat without you having to do a single minute of exercise. Are these diets the real deal? Here is what we have found out about belly fat diets:

The best way to get rid of stomach fat is to eat a healthy diet and maintain a regular exercise routine. You will want to work all of your muscle systems, not just your abdominal region. You know that this is true, but isn't there any truth to the diets that claim to get rid of belly fat?

To understand why these diets aren't what they claim to be, you need to understand how fat works in your body. Fat cells cannot be lost without surgery. Even people who are in model shape have plenty of fat cells in their bodies. Fat cells are cells that stretch and constrict depending on how much exercise you get and what you eat. The only way to lose a fat cell is to have it surgically removed. What's more, your body stores fat in different ways--focusing on a single area of your body won't get rid of that area's fat It will simply relocate the fat to somewhere else!

The "Belly Fat Diet" promoted by Prevention Magazine is famous because it promotes the ingestion of monosaturated fat Followers of this diet plan are instructed to add some source of monosaturated fat to every meal they eat. Monosaturated fats can be found in, among other things, soybeans, seeds, nuts, olives and dark chocolate. The person who developed the diet claims that monosaturated fat focuses specifically on the fat that is stored in the belly area. The author of the diet encourages exercise, but emphasizes that exercise is not required to make the diet successful.

Recently, MSNBC released an article that promises readers that there are no foods that will actively attack single areas of body fat Belly fat is the same as fat located in other areas of the human body. The article maintains that genetics has more to do with where your body stores fat than anything you could eat.

Here is the simple truth: if you cut your calorie intake and burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight! To work specifically on the fat that is stored in your belly, you can add some extra abdominal exercises to your regular workout routine. There are no magical belly fat diets that will whisk away the fat cells stored in your belly. To truly lose your stomach fat you need to eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly!

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-91820294000246230882017-01-18T06:49:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.025+07:00Asthma and Enlarged Tonsils[ad_1]

There is a lot of controversy and debate regarding the point whether tonsils should be removed or not in a person suffering from asthma. Different doctors have different opinions in this matter. Some advocate tonsillectomy (removal of tonsils) while others do not. It is therefore important to understand the role of tonsils in the human body so that adequate judgement can be made in this regard.

Tonsils make the first line of defence in the human body. They are present on either side of the pharynx. Pharynx is the middle portion of the throat. Why tonsils make the first line of defence is because they try to trap any germs and foreign bodies that may enter the body through the mouth and the nose. After trapping them the tonsils also produce protective antibodies with the help of their lymphatic cell structure that forms the main body of the tonsils. These antibodies circulate in the blood and fight the foreign organisms that somehow pass into the blood stream. So tonsils on one hand act as a mechanical guard and on the other hand they act on the molecular level also to protect the body. The antibody forming tissue is present in other parts of the body too but tonsils are first line of defence of the human system.

The body of a child is exposed to many different kinds of germs for the first time. The body is not used to these germs and needs to be protected against them. The tonsils work vigorously and in some children get abnormally enlarged in the process. If a child suffers from cough and wheezing his breathing is as it is strained. If this is due to some allergic reactions it may be accompanied with sore throat and fever as well. If the allergy persists or may subside and reappear again and again the tonsils too get infected while protecting the body.

In such a scenario the infected tonsils may need to be removed as their infection may be adversely having an impact on the body repeatedly. Also their enlarged size may be straining the breathing further in a child who is already suffering with asthma. So the children who suffer with asthma may be recommended a removal of tonsils if the asthma is of extrinsic type and is caused by allergens.

Sometimes in the children who suffer from intrinsic asthma too this may be recommended as the body becomes weakened and is susceptible to attacks from various organisms. But this is controversial because tonsils are the first line of defence and removing them may not be such a good thing to do, at least in theory. But in practice the tonsils may be a cause for many infections and it is best to get rid of the source of infections.

Some of the views regarding the question of removal of tonsils are:

1 The tonsils act at the site and later as a source of infection in the body. Their removal would influence the course of asthma favourably and even prevent its occurrence in a susceptible individual.

2 The tonsils prevent the spread of infection from the nose and throat into the bronchi and the lungs so their removal would create situations of mild asthma developing into severe one. In susceptible individuals symptoms of asthma may even precipitate due to tonsillectomy.

3 The presence or absence of tonsils actually does not make any difference over the allergic state of an individual. So technically removal of tonsils cannot precipitate the symptoms of asthma according to this view.

With reference to the varied views mentioned above it seems that the most appropriate path for the surgery for the removal of tonsils would not only be an individual choice but also may mean that a certain individual needs to be studied for previous history of infections, process of treatment and pathway of recovering from the infections before any decisions can be taken.

If there is evidence of recurring infections of throat and the infections seem to be localised in the tonsils then this may be the only option provided there are no other serious complications. Children in the younger stages are more susceptible to repeated infections of throat and the chest so to understand that the infections are localised to the tonsil area is very important before taking the decision of tonsillectomy.

Another point to be thoroughly understood is that removal of infected tonsils may have no effect whatsoever over the condition of asthma of the child. The removal of tonsils may have effect on the associated conditions of aggravation of the symptoms because of the effect that the associated allergens may be having on the situation.

This is also true only to the extrinsic type of asthma, but it shall have none or very little effect on the intrinsic type of asthma. Some doctors feel that the benefits associated with tonsillectomy are most evident in the first year of surgery and later they dissipate and after some time there remains no difference between the asthmatic children who underwent surgery and the asthmatic children who did not undergo any surgery.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-8936893517553313392017-01-18T04:21:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.015+07:00The Liquid Diet: How Alcohol Can Destroy a Diet[ad_1]

We have discussed in the past the importance of discovering the hidden fats and calories in the foods we eat. I showed how a salad, sandwich, or any other common type of food can quickly double in fat and calories when the wrong ingredients are included in them. However, there are some things that some of us cannot live without. By this I am speaking of our daily glass of wine, the beer after work, or the fancy mixed-drink with dinner. It seems that the allure of a cool cocktail (or two) awaits us at every avenue of our lives. To the tea-toataler the problem is nonexistent. But the rest of us, drinking can fast become a diet-breaking addition to the bulge.

The problem with the alcoholic beverages is threefold:

First, alcohol packs on and nearly doubles the calorie content of any type of juice, soda, or mixer.

The average one ounce shot of hard liquor contains about 70-75 calories with some darker liquors like bourbon and brandy a little higher. Add one shot of liquor to a few ounces of tonic or cola and the calorie count is in the hundreds. And those exotic pina coladas or margaritas can run even higher than that. By any measure, one drink wont ruin any diet, yet one drink is rarely a common occurrence....

Second, a drink usually leads to two.

The taste of one drink is cool and satisfying. The second is even better, and so it goes. Rarely in any social setting where alcohol is being consumed, does on e stick to a single cocktail. Alcohol lessens our inhibitions, which sometimes leads to more alcohol and thusly, more calories. And after yet even one more drink almost always ends in the worst case scenario....

Third, alcohol almost always leads to eating and overeating

Alcohol, and its effects usually set the stage for binge eating. At only two drinks, your body seeks a heavier and more satisfying type of fare, and you guessed it, yet even more calories. The caloric cycle of almost anyone under the influence of a few drinks can prove to be a hidden diet disaster. The binge eating will almost undoubtedly ensue.

The Fat Mentality in regards to drinking can lead us in many wrong directions. Common misperceptions of alcohol lead to over-use and unknown consumption of hundreds (if not thousands) of calories in a single evening. The number one mistake made by people who are drinking and trying to lose weight is to perceive alcoholic beverages as a liquid ,and thus no harm to ones diet. I cant stress the fact enough....that alcohol leads to fat. The "beer gut" is no wives tale, it truly does exist. Anyone adhering to a perfect diet, yet drinks frequently, is guaranteed to get fat.

The best remedy for anyone who enjoys alcohol, is to educate yourself on the caloric content of what you are consuming: Most wines contain about 90-100 calories per glass. Most full bodied beers contain between 140 to 200 calories per 12 ounce glass, with the light beers at a more reasonable 100-110 calories per glass. And again, most clear liquors contain about 70 calories per ounce, so pair these with diet soda or club soda for the "best choice" of alcoholic beverages. The other best alternatives would be wines or light beer. Steer clear of the detrimental mixed drinks and full-bodied beers.

Another important thing to be mindful of with regards to drinking is to pay attention to how often you do it. The casual daily glass of wine or the few beers here and there add up. Set yourself a schedule so as to monitor how often you are consuming alcoholic beverages. Give yourself a night or two a week to have drinks if you so choose, so as not to over-indulge in these diet-busting pleasures.

Lastly, and sometimes most importantly, be prepared for what you are going to eat after you have had a few cocktails. Yet do the preparations beforehand. Have a healthy and light snack ready to consume after a night of cocktails. This way you will be steered clear of the more tempting of post-drinking options. In sum, a night of drinking loads your body with a good amount of un-needed calories. Do your best to dodge the heavier cocktails at the bar and the heavier fares afterward.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-59838669242021213142017-01-18T02:21:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:55.004+07:003 More Foods To Avoid If You Have H Pylori[ad_1]

H pylori infections are relatively common. Some people develop nasty symptoms, whereas others do not. The majority of people who do develop symptoms experience problems in the upper GI tract, such as heartburn, bloating and stomach pain, though some may also develop lower GI symptoms such as diarrhea.

What many folk don't realize is that a number of commonly eaten foods can cause exactly the same - or similar - symptoms as H pylori. This can lead to confusion. First, H pylori can be successfully eradicated only for symptoms to remain if these irritating foods are not avoided. Second, symptoms can all go away when people avoid these foods, even when H pylori is still present.

Thus, eradicating H pylori and overcoming symptoms are not necessarily the same thing! Unfortunately, the medical system does not address foods and diet when treating patients who have H pylori. But think about it: the foods that you put in your mouth day in, day out, are sure to influence the health of your gut.

Fortunately, it's relatively simple to avoid these trouble-causing foods, as long as you know the what alternative foods are available.

In a previous article on this topic, I explained how gluten, coffee and soy-based foods can all irritate the stomach and intestinal lining in much the same way as H pylori does. Gluten and soy, in particular, are enormous problem foods. The author is allergic to soy, develops flatulence and loose stools when eating it and can attest first hand to the problems this so-called health food can cause.

Three more foods that can act as major irritants to the gut are cow's milk, especially when heavily processed, spicy foods and polyunsaturated oils from seeds and nuts.

Cow's milk:

Cow's milk is actually the number one allergy causing food on the planet. It presents a conundrum because some people do very well consuming cow's milk products. However some people are very sensitive to the sugar (lactose) and protein (casein) in milk, developing digestive symptoms, skin problems and other symptoms when they consume milk.

I recommend my clients avoid cow's milk for 60-days, then reintroduce it, noting how they feel. In the meantime, I recommend they consume goat and sheep's milk products, which tend to be more compatible with the human gut.

Spicy foods:

Because H pylori damages the delicate lining of the digestive system - particularly the stomach and upper intestine - spicy foods can exacerbate irritation in those areas.

However, there is a caveat here, which is that certain spices, including chilli of all things, can have anti-H pylori properties.

Again, I recommend to my clients that avoid spicy food if it causes problems, but if they feel OK eating spices, I tend to encourage their use from a therapeutic perspective.

Polyunsaturated oils:

This is probably the most controversial topic because seed and nut oils are heavily promoted as being healthy options and should replace the likes of butter.

This is false, dogmatic information. Seeds oils such as sunflower, safflower, corn, soybean and nut oils are damaging to the body, especially when consumed at levels seen in today's society. They interfere with the body's ability to make energy, disrupt thyroid gland function and oxidize readily in the body, setting the scene for cancer and heart disease.

Specifically, these oils affect the gut by down-regulating the activity of certain enzymes that help break down food. When food is not broken down properly, it can be putrefied in the gut, causing wind, bloating, loose stools or constipation.

I recommend coconut oil, olive oil (which has a different composition to the other vegetable and seed oils) and organic goat's butter as optimal sources of dietary fat.

Olive oil has been shown to have anti-H pylori properties and coconut oil contains lauric acid, which also has anti-H pylori activity. Thus, not only are these oils non-disruptive to the gut, they may also assist in killing the H pylori.

In summary, if you have H pylori, avoiding cow's milk for 60-days and removing spicy foods may assist in quickly reducing digestive symptoms. Avoiding seed oils such as sunflower, safflower, corn and soybean oil has the potential to improve all aspects of your health.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-44053990105855449022017-01-17T21:54:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:54.994+07:00Lose 2 Stone in a Month - How to Lose 30 Pounds in 1 Month[ad_1]

What is the most effective way to lose 2 stone in a month? Calorie shifting of course, as it's the only diet proven to not suffer from a rebound effect and best of all you will continue to lose weight from this diet even after you stop. There's no starving, in fact its required that you eat frequently to achieve the greatest results. Find out how to burn 2 stone off in 1 month.

Eating to Lose Weight

It might come as a surprise that eating food is actually the most effective way to lose weight, but its no joke. You see when you eat on a calorie restricted diet your metabolism actually slows down as well, this is all a part of the homeostasis your body is constantly striving for. As a result of this when you stop a low calorie diet you are actually left with a slower metabolism and will find that you have to do more work to build your metabolism back up to a normal level. The opposite is true however if you eat a diet that is just enough every day to trigger your metabolism but varies enough as well to never let your body find its comfort zone you will continually burn off calories by eating.

Calorie Shifting Keeps the Weight Off!

Unlike all other diets, when you finish a calorie shifting program, your metabolism is literally supercharged and will be stimulated any time you eat for weeks following the diet. Oddly enough this is the exact opposite of what happens with most other diets as they will put the pounds back on, calorie shifting will keep them coming off for weeks because of its unique approach to weight loss.

[ad_2]Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03532958434065025710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971588971435437485.post-9939944620309115812017-01-17T19:58:00.000+07:002017-01-19T23:16:54.984+07:00Men's Health Alert - Penile Rash, Bumps and Spots[ad_1]

Penile rash symptoms are understandably a cause for concern for most men. Even men who are not sexually active may develop spots, bumps and penis rash that may itch, flake, and spread to other parts of the genital area. Daily penis care with gentle cleansers and penis-specific vitamins and minerals may help to prevent minor skin rashes on the penis and soothe irritated skin. In addition, men should be aware of penis symptoms that may require medical attention.

Penis rash symptoms that all men should watch for

The following symptoms can be caused by a variety of different types of penile skin conditions. In most cases, these are minor, and the redness, swelling and rash can be resolved through good hygiene and nutrient support for the skin.

Symptom: Small bumps around the crown of the penis

Possible Causes:

· Penile Papules - This condition, which mainly affects uncircumcised men, presents as a series of small, dome-like bumps that may be flesh-colored or red. They are generally not painful and do not require any treatment beyond normal personal hygiene. Keeping the skin well-moisturized and supplying the area with antioxidants and skin care nutrients such as vitamin A can help to keep away bacteria and other microorganisms that may cause penis rash under the foreskin.

Symptom: Itchy, red penis rash that spreads and/or flakes

Possible Causes:

· Psoriasis- This skin reaction occurs on other parts of the body and may affect the penis skin, as well. Symptoms include red patches of skin and may be accompanied by inflammation. Flaking and itching may also occur, and peeling the skin that flakes away may cause slight bleeding. Vitamin A treatments are often recommended by dermatologists for treating all types of psoriasis.

· Contact dermatitis- Skin allergies and sensitivities to substances ranging from latex (found in condoms), detergents and deodorants, and poison ivy or poison oak can cause a rash on the penis. Avoiding materials known to cause skin reactions is the number one solution for avoiding contact dermatitis. To soothe itchy, reddened and inflamed skin, penis crèmes containing vitamins such as A, C, D and E are generally effective.

· Fungal infections - Fungal infections, including Candida yeast and the condition commonly known as "jock itch" are found nearly everywhere, especially in gym locker rooms and other areas that are warm, moist, and frequented by large numbers of people. These can cause redness, a spreading rash, and severe itching. Keeping the groin area clean and dry and treating the skin with healing vitamins C and D may help to prevent the development of fungal infections.

Symptom: Small, red bumps at the base of the penis

Possible Causes:

· Bacterial infections- As with fungal infections, the genital area is a prime breeding ground for bacteria that can cause skin infections that may be accompanied by rash and swelling. Vitamin A, which works as a natural antibacterial, can help to eliminate harmful bacteria that can cause penis rash and foul odors.

· Shaving- Men who shave the hair around the penis may develop reddened bumps. These are actually caused by bacteria that invade the follicles following shaving. Treating the skin with a nutrient formula containing vitamin A can help to eliminate bacteria, while vitamins C, B5 and D can speed healing.

Symptom: Red, itchy rash and swelling on the head of the penis

Possible Causes:

· Balanitis- This common penis rash condition is generally caused by poor hygiene and is more common in uncircumcised men. Nevertheless, there are some ways to enhance your likelihood of reducing your weight. One of those ways is B12 injections which has shown to improve a persons overall health. There are those that have a B12 deficiency and require the shot, but that doesn't mean its right for you. We'll discuss what exactly the B12 shot for weight loss is and what benefits or side effects may result from taking this shot.

What exactly is B12?

B12 is a nutrient you could acquire by eating fish like bass or salmon, as well as clams and lean meats. Taking B12 may also increase a persons metabolic rate which increases energy levels. Increasing your metabolic rate not only helps you burn calories even while resting, but stops the extra consumed fats from just being stored; more will be used up to produce the energy.

Even though there is a lack of clinical proof that B12 injections for weight loss work, some have reported that taking B12 helps in controlling weight gain. Regardless of the advantages or disadvantages of B12, experts agree that the most efficient way to get vitamin b12 into the blood stream is by taking a b12 shot. Since B12 helps in making your metabolic rate work appropriately, it could be one factor in the success of every fat reduction plan.

Some doctors would have you taking B12 shots for weight loss once a week, but there are things to consider. Price is one thing to consider because the shots run upwards of $25 dollars per shot. Now, if you need 1 to 2 shots a week that might be more than you are willing to pay. Once taking the shot if you see positive gains in your energy levels and just overall feeling good, then you could opt to have the shot twice a week or twice a month. As with any medically related treatment, your doctor will advise you best.

B12 shots for weight loss can also produce weight loss results, because often they contain some sort of fat burner. These shots may contain a lipotropic complex which combines natural herbs, multiple vitamins and minerals. This lipotropic complex supports healthy liver organ function and will help the liver manage fats. These fats are broken down and then move throughout the bloodstream where they may be used to produce energy.

B12 Shots Benefits

The benefits of B12 shots may be reduced stress levels, skin condition improvements, energy level increases, and possible weight loss. If you're in good shape, feel healthy and balancedandhave no lack of energythen taking the B12 effects may be minimal. However if you are feeling run down, on the go all the time then a B12 shot may just be the thing to help give you a boost. Having a B12 deficiency though and taking the shot, may improve your bodies response to any weight loss program and increase your energy overall.

B12 Shots Side Effects

As with any shot, medicine or product you take, there can be side effects. Not all people will experience these side effects, but there are symptomsthatyou should be aware of. If you decide to take the B12 shot and experience any of these side effects, contact your physician immediately.
